Train runs from Dallas to Fort Worth Mon., Wed, and Sat leaving Dallas at 2:49 and arriving in Ft. Worth at 4:12.
Cost: $8.00 for adults, $4.00 for children.
(Please call and verify prices haven't changed) YOU CANNOT DO A ROUND-TRIP IN ONE DAY-Plan to have someone pick you up in Ft. Worth.

2. THE TARANTULA RAILROAD
This steam railroad brings visitors to the Fort Worth Stockyards district. The steam engines date from 1896 to 1929.
Cost: Adults $10.00 children $5.50 (Please call and verify no price changes)
Departure times: Wed-Sun 12:15, 2:00, 4:15 Fri. evening 7:00

3. DART LIGHT RAIL SERVICE
Information regarding times and fares (214) 979-1111
You can park your car at Mockingbird or Park and ride the rail to downtown Dallas. Service runs every 20 minutes.
Cost: Children ages 7-11 .50 - Adults - 1.00 one way fare.

4. TRINITY EXPRESS FROM DALLAS TO IRVING
Information regarding times and fares (214-979-1111. Press 0 for Operator.)

5. TEXAS STATE RAILROAD FROM RUSK TO PALESTINE
Information regarding time (1-800-442-8951)
Early reservations are requested.
Cost: $15.00 adults and $9.00 for children (3-12)

An exhibit of eight walk-through train cars that includes the world's largest diesel-electric locomotive.
Groups with reservations only. Thurs-Fri 10-3, Sat-Sun 11-5.
$3 for adults and $1.50 for children (prices may change, please call to verify)

2. UNION STATION

Soaring stone columns and a long flower box bordered balcony enhance the elegant exterior of this building, which was built in 1916. It now serves as the Dallas terminal for Amtrak.

3. THE TRAINS OF CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER
Phone (214) 920-2000 1935 Motor Street, Dallas
Eight trains run in the largest permanent model train exhibit in the U.S. The tracks wind through miniature replicas of some of this country's most Famous landmarks.

4. ENNIS TRAIN MUSEUM
Phone 1-800-442-8951 102 North East Main
Museum is open Mon-Sat 10-5, Sunday 1-5.
Cost: $2.00 for adults and children under 12 free with paid adult.
